When leaving undergraduate study at Sussex there are some common choices that students take. In 2016 95.7% of first degree leavers were in work, work and study or further study

The two most likely options are:

Employment - 63.3% of all students leaving in 2016
Further study - 32.4% of all students leaving in 2016

Outside of the above small numbers of students take options including: Gap Years, Voluntary work or are unemployed.

NB When making choices about next steps it is important to apply for your choices at the right time some employment and further study options require applications from early September in your final year. Some popular and competetive choices may close to applicants by October and November or before Christmas. Early application can be important.
